Is the Great Commission too Great?
Is it out of perspective? I mean. It is only one sentence and surely must be a part of how we are to follow Christ. But we make it THE MISSION STATEMENT. To make disciples.. but most of Jesus ministry he didn’t do that, and he didn’t tell other to do that. He told them to do ‘other’ things. He said this one thing at the end. Jesus’ last word to his disciples.
The last word is usually strongest. Not because it is the most important thing the author wrote, but because it is the last thing to enter our mind.
