Monday Morning
We got to taste a bit of decadence here in Vancouver Island. The Prancing Horse Resort has been absolutely wonderful. They served a great breakfast of raspberries the size of my nose and a delicious eggs benedict. The clouds even rolled away a little bit to allow me to snap some pictures of the beautiful bay that we are situated above. There are red, barkless trees everywhere. Really beautiful. The weather is supposed to clear up tomorrow, but I’m hoping for a dose of sunshine today too. I think Amy and I are going to head back to Victoria for the rest of the morning and afternoon and then grab a ferry back to the mainland this evening.
